What your session record can include

Session settings

Stance, eyes open or closed, surface, and duration help describe the exercise you completed.

Symptoms before and after

Record how you feel around a session so you can discuss changes at a follow-up.

Balance observations

Depending on the mode used, a session can include phone-motion measurements and detected or manually reported balance losses.

A record around your care plan

  1. Before the session

Follow your prescribed program and record your symptoms before starting.

  2. During the session

Use the settings in your program. Keep the support and supervision you need.

  3. After the session

Record your symptoms and review your session history to prepare for a conversation with your clinician.

How to interpret phone measurements

The sensors record phone movement. Device placement and how you hold it can affect the readings. These measurements are not a diagnosis, a clinical balance test, or evidence that you can safely increase difficulty.

Frequently asked questions

Does EyeRehab decide whether eyes-closed practice is safe for me?

A phone measurement or symptom score cannot establish that an exercise is safe. Discuss your fall risk, support, and supervision with your clinician.

Should I hold my phone if I need hand support?

Do not give up needed support to hold your phone. Ask your clinician how to fit session tracking into your program.

What can I discuss at a follow-up?

Your history can help you describe completed sessions, symptoms before and after exercise, and difficulties you encountered. Session records do not replace a clinical assessment.
