Physitrack vs VOR Eye Rehab: global HEP platform vs vestibular specialist (2026)

Disclosure up front: I build VOR Eye Rehab, so weigh everything accordingly. But I want to be fair to Physitrack, because it's the product international vestibular physios most often ask me about — and for some of them, it's the right answer.

Physitrack is the world's largest HEP platform: 18,500+ exercises, native telehealth, 40+ EMR integrations, used in dozens of countries. VOR Eye Rehab is a vestibular-only treatment platform with instrumented VOR exercises, symptom-driven progression, and in-clinic visual stimulation. One is a Swiss army knife. The other is a scalpel for one specialty.

TL;DR

Choose Physitrack if

You treat across specialties, need built-in telehealth, or your country/EMR isn't served by newer platforms

Choose VOR Eye Rehab if

Your dizziness caseload needs dose-measured VOR exercises, automatic symptom-based progression, and optokinetic tools Physitrack doesn't have

Physitrack's library is 30× the size of ours and their integration list is longer than our feature list. None of those exercises measure head velocity, track vestibular symptoms per session, progress themselves, or project an optokinetic stripe onto your clinic wall. If your patients are dizzy, the smaller specialized tool does more of the work.

Where Physitrack is genuinely better

Breadth, availability, and integrations. If your practice treats backs, knees, shoulders, and the occasional BPPV, one Physitrack subscription covers everything, and PhysiApp is a genuinely good patient experience that works in more countries and languages than most competitors bother with. Their telehealth is built in — during COVID they scaled it faster than anyone, and it shows.

The 40+ EMR integrations matter more than clinicians expect until the day they matter enormously. If your practice lives inside an EMR they already integrate with, Physitrack disappears into your workflow in a way a newer platform can't match. That's a real advantage and I won't pretend otherwise.

Where VOR Eye Rehab wins

Physitrack treats a vestibular exercise like any other exercise: a video in a library. Vestibular rehab doesn't work that way. The therapeutic variable in gaze stabilization is head velocity and it needs to be measured, not modeled; habituation needs symptom gating before and after every session, not a pain slider; and programs need to progress based on those responses without waiting for the clinician to rebuild them.

That's the entire architecture of VOR Eye Rehab: phone-sensor head-speed tracking with voice coaching into the prescribed zone, five-metric symptom capture (dizziness, brain fog, headache, eye strain, nausea), AI progression, auto-scored DHI/ABC/VVAS, in-clinic projector mode for optokinetic and pursuit work, and an RTM billing dashboard for US practices. Professional costs USD 49/month, 2 active patients included, then USD 9.95/additional active patient/month; compare that platform-and-patient model with the current Physitrack quote for your clinic.

Best for
Multi-specialty practices, telehealth-first clinics, international users
Price

Vestibular specificity
The largest general exercise library in rehab

If I ran a general musculoskeletal practice in a country Physitrack serves well, I'd probably use Physitrack. The library is unmatched, PhysiApp is free for patients, telehealth is native, and the EMR integration list is the longest in the category.

But watch what happens to a vestibular program inside it: the clinician assembles VOR videos, prints a symptom diary or asks patients to self-report, and manually bumps difficulty at follow-up. The platform is doing delivery, not rehab. For a small dizziness caseload that's fine. When dizzy patients are the practice, you're paying for a library you don't use and missing instrumentation you can't live without.

2. VOR Eye Rehab (mine)

Best for
Vestibular, concussion, and oculomotor specialists
Price
USD 49/month, 2 active patients included, then USD 9.95/additional active patient/month · patient app free
Vestibular specificity
Instrumented VOR, symptom-driven AI progression, projector mode

VOR Eye Rehab trades the 18,500-exercise library for a focused one where every exercise is interactive. Head-speed guidance via the phone's motion sensors, metronome pacing, voice coaching in English, Spanish, and French, and real-world video habituation environments — supermarkets, streets, transit — graded by visual complexity.

Clinicians get five-metric symptom capture around every session, automatic progression, DHI/ABC/VVAS scoring, projector mode for in-clinic work, AI progress and discharge reports, and RTM billing tracking. Honest gaps: no built-in video consultations, fewer integrations (we bridge with an EMR Outbox and CSV export), and a younger platform from a founder-led company. For a specialist caseload, the trade favors us. For a general practice, it doesn't.

My honest pick

Multi-specialty practice, international clinic, or telehealth-heavy workflow: Physitrack, comfortably. It's a mature product that earns its reputation, and I'd rather you use it well than a specialist tool badly.

Vestibular or concussion caseload at the center of the practice: VOR Eye Rehab. The difference isn't marketing — it's that a gaze stabilization exercise with measured dose and symptom-gated progression is a different treatment than a video of one. That difference compounds over every session of every week.

What I'd do today

  1. 1 Check whether your EMR is on Physitrack's integration list — if yes, that's a genuine point for them worth real money in staff time.
  2. 2 Ask how many of your vestibular patients currently train at measurable head velocity. If the answer is 'none of them can tell', that's the case for instrumented exercises.
  3. 3 Compare the patient experience: have one patient run a Physitrack VOR program and a VOR Eye Rehab program for two weeks each.
  4. 4 Count languages: we coach in English, Spanish, and French today; verify Physitrack's coverage for your patient population before switching either way.

Questions

Does Physitrack support vestibular rehabilitation?
It includes vestibular exercise videos within its 18,500-exercise library and telehealth follow-up, and plenty of vestibular physios use it that way. What it doesn't offer is instrumentation: no real-time head-velocity measurement, no per-session five-metric vestibular symptom capture, no automatic progression from symptom responses, and no in-clinic visual stimulation such as optokinetic projection. Delivery is supported; dosing is not measured.
Why is VOR Eye Rehab cheaper than Physitrack?
Different scope. Physitrack licenses a huge content library, telehealth infrastructure, and a large integration surface; we build one specialty deeply with a lean team. USD 49/month, 2 active patients included, then USD 9.95/additional active patient/month with a free patient app reflects that focus. If you need the general library, Physitrack's price is fair for what you get — buy it for that reason, not because it's the only option.
Can I keep Physitrack for my general patients and add VOR Eye Rehab for vestibular?
Yes — that's a common pattern. The patient app is free, Professional costs USD 49/month, 2 active patients included, then USD 9.95/additional active patient/month, and there's no migration required: vestibular patients just get invited into VOR Eye Rehab programs. The EMR Outbox copies session summaries into whatever charting system you keep upstream, including via Physitrack-linked EMRs.
Which platform is better for telehealth vestibular rehab?
Physitrack has native video consultations and is the safer pick if video calls are the core of your remote workflow. VOR Eye Rehab approaches remote care differently: structured HIPAA-compliant messaging built around vestibular care, remote symptom and adherence monitoring that feeds the progression engine, and RTM-friendly time tracking. If you need face-to-face video, Physitrack; if you need asynchronous dose and symptom oversight, us.
